Over the last couple of days, when I've gotten home from work, the weather has been fairly nice, so I've taken our dog Maggie out for a long, enjoyable walk! Let's just say that like me, Maggie also needs the exercise!
Earlier in the month when we had the hint of spring like weather, we started to get back out with Maggie as opposed to just letting her out in the backyard, and we noticed that she was getting very excited to go for walks!
Now we know why! His name is Norman...Stormin'Norman as he's known up and down our street. A beautiful golden retriever! The protector of all residents! He looks almost identical to this picture. We think Maggie has a crush...puppy love!
What's really interesting is that until we get to that point on the street, I'm not really walking Maggie, she's walking me. Yesterday it was more like a slow jog!
After we pass Norman's house, the pace slows considerably! It picks back up on the way back...beagle instinct! Just too cute.
Not a lot of depth in my last two posts...just life...just fun!

So sorry I haven't been by lately....the whole out-of-town thing has thrown my blog visiting off, but hopefully I'll be a regular customer to your beautiful blog now that maybe things will calm down a bit.

Oh that is too funny! Sounds like she really enjoys her walks :o)
That is so sweet! Maybe Maggie will have more reason to keep up her exercise routine since she's trying to impress Stormin' Norman now.
How cute! We don't give our pets enough credit sometimes...girls will be girls!
