Last night was the the Junior/Senior Prom for our daughter's school. It was held in at the beautiful historic Grace Event Center in uptown Charlotte. The staff went all out to make the Prom a beautiful event. Katie said it was decorated so pretty.
A few gathered at our house for pictures before meeting the rest of their party uptown for dinner at City Tavern. One of the girl's moms had made reservations for the kids there. It was really cute, because with all of the one way streets uptown, they got turned around quite a bit! Oh, did I mention lost?
Katie with her date Joey. They decided to go together at the last minute! Nice young man! His mom followed him over to take pictures too.

Katie and her friend Colby. Katie had actually tried on this exact same dress! Good thing we didn't get it!

The Group! This is just a bit blurry!

I think a good time was had by all!

Your daughter looks so pretty! How fun! I remember the prom like it was yesterday. And there are many things I forget :o) But I think the prom is one of those unforgettables. Thanks for sharing your beautiful daughter with us. It makes it even sweeter knowing her story and all God has done for her. What a testimony!

The beautiful pictures of your daughter and her friends brought back memories of my daugher/son's proms. My daughter ended up going to a total of 9 formals/proms and my son went to 4. What fun it was for everyone, including us! My son is now 23 and my daughter is 20so prom days are over unfortunately.
Anyways, your daughter looked stunning as well as the others. I'm glad they had a good time.
Love her dress! And she is beautiful! I'm sure they had a great time!

What fun memories! My kids are 26 & 28. It seems like just a year or two ago we were taking pictures and being sponsors at their proms.

Your daughter is beautiful -- both ladies are and the young men are handsome. I'm glad they had a good time. What an important part of their lives as they merge into adulthood. I pray the blessings of the Lord upon each one of them.
