Peace In The Word

So often when I'm lacking a sense of peace that only Jesus Christ can give, I find comfort in God's word and his creation. Everything we're so blessed with on this earth was beautifully created by the fingertips of God. Not only is it amazing, but humbling.

I'm equally humbled that Jesus paid the ultimate price for my salvation and peace.

Allow God today to give you hope for the future, peace and joy when you feel little, and a sense of security when you think all is lost.

Job 22:21
Submit to God and be at peace with him;
in this prosperity will come to you.

Knowing that God cares about every living creature; the beasts of the field, the birds of the air and the fish of the sea, causes me to pause and think how much he loves every fiber of my being.

Job 12:10
In his hands is the life of every
creature and the breath of all mankind.

Blessings to you during this Holy Week. I pray that you will feel God's peace and presence. I encourage you to read from Isaiah 53 , the punishment that brought us peace.

Embrace Life in Jesus Christ,
Ginger

And blessings to you as we begin our ascent to the cross! Thank you for sharing your heart and life with me in blogland. It strengthens my walk to know that I'm not going it alone! May God's presence be made real to you in full and rich ways this week, when you least expect Him, and especially when you do!

I don't know where Bill and I would be without the Lord and His word. We have been through some extremely difficult circumstances over the past three years. Reading His word has brought us much comfort and peace, even in the midst of those situations!

Thank you so much for this encouraging post...you are a blessing.

Thank you for this uplifting post.

After reading it I got my old Bible that is falling apart and read all of Isaiah 53. I love the Scripture song that says "He was wounded for our transgressions...He was bruised for our iniquity. Surely He bore our sorrows and by His stripes we are healed."

I love your play list too. "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" is one of my very favorites. I heard a black man sing it one time at my sister's church & he had a beautiful deep voice. It sent chills all over me.

Have a very peaceful & blessed day Ginger.

Love,
Valerie
