Lovin' Lazy Days!

Well...not really lazy days! I should rephrase that and call them not so fast, but somewhat productive, doing what I like days! That sounds so much better and not like I'm a total couch potato! Gotta love those snow days. The white flakes falling against the midnight sky and the constant pinging sound of sleet hitting the window.

The last few days have been just wonderful eating a nice relaxing breakfast over coffee and the paper, staying in my pajamas all day Saturday and Sunday, watching movies and doing a little housework here and there! Oh...and finishing my report cards. It's been nice.

Tonight the meteorologist is calling for freezing rain and another storm later in the week. I'm not sure I'm ready for another one just on the heels of this one, but what will be will be!

What's really neat to me is that when I'm really tired and needing rest, God always slows things down in such beautiful and incredible way. He paints a beautiful work of art for us to breathe in and enjoy.

Embrace your lazy days!

I stayed in my pj's all day on Sunday. We had 8" of snow, so all church services were canceled in our area. I love to have that time to relax, too. It was so hard, though to get up at 5:30 this morning!

Our pastor - my boss - will be out of town this week and next, so I'm hoping for a little time to catch up at work.

Have a great week...stay warm!

I'm not a cold weather person but was grateful the snowy mix happened over the weekend, even though Monday was still a little testy with icy patches still in some areas. But I did enjoy being lazy!!

And thank you for "encouraging" me on my attempts to lose weight!! Yes!! Let's stay in touch about this! I need all the encouragement I can get! :o)

Music is what feelings sound like .. I read that on an older post of yours. What a wonderful sentiment!

I love days like that too! They are some of the best! I am just stopping over from Beth's at Outnumbered 3 to 1. I love meeting new blogging friends. I would love for you to stop over and meet me some time if you are interested. I enjoyed my visit here today. :)
