Back in December I wrote a post for my father-in-law in honor of his birthday. Today I am writing to ask for your prayers. Papa Joe was diagnosed with cancer a couple of weeks ago and is having surgery tomorrow.
We are praying for God's healing and strength for him as he goes through this procedure. He is a strong man of faith and loves the Lord. Because of his faith, he has a very positive outlook and attitude.
Psalm 121:1-2
I lift my eyes unto the hills-
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
Embrace the hope of Jesus, our Maker, our Helper.

Praying for your "Papa Joe"...
and that the surgery will go great and that God will guide the surgeons' hands!
I pray Papa Joe feels God's peace and that the Lord guides the hands of the doctors.
My Daddy was diagnosed with cancer about 10 years ago. It had already metastasized to his spine when they found it. The doctors gave him "maybe" 3 years to live. THANKFULLY no man knows the day or hour. God has truly carried my Dad through this season.
