Wow! What a day...very busy, yet so productive. Today was a teacher workday for Charlotte Meck. Our school had a previously planned seminar training. My training was in the afternoon which allowed me time in my classroom during the morning to organize and prepare centers, rearrange furniture and actually clean off my desk and file papers that I haven't had a chance to touch since the beginning of the year!
Having a little extra time this morning for coffee and reading was so nice before leaving for work. I didn't feel rushed to be out the door by 6:35. Being able to actually spend more time with my devotion was nice. It put me in the frame of mind I needed to face the day. Having this time is a challenge for me, but I find that when I don't spend time in God's word, my day reflects it.
With the economic jolt and so much uncertainty hanging over our heads, we can rest assured in the fact that God loves us and we can put our faith and trust in Him when all else fails.
Psalms 25:4-5
Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
