There are days when you just feel like you'd like to start over...this was one of those days for me. I could tell that when I woke up this morning, I was unusally tired and short with the people I care about most. Not a great way to start the week. Burning the candle at both ends benefits no one.
I think I woke up a little stressed knowing that along with my buddy Candy, I had to sing the school song today on the "We Rock" show...our little news show at PSE. It went well and everyone was complimentary, but I was nervous.
Sometimes you feel as though the harder you try, whether it be at work, home or in your Christian walk, the more challenging it can be. I certainly won't be getting a "Mother of the Year" award today for my lovely attitude and maternal skills. Let just say I blew it nicely..to say the least.
Mama said there would be days like this, but Mama also said never go to bed angry or upset with those you love. This scripture reminds me of what I should be doing.
